Hi, I’m Joy Harris, the heart behind Joyfull Connections Life Coaching. With over 33 years in the beauty industry as a Professional Hairstylist, I’ve experienced firsthand the highs and lows of building a business behind the chair. From perfecting techniques to managing clients, and navigating personal struggles—including grieving the loss of my mother while still showing up for my clients—I know what it takes to sustain a career in this industry.

Now, as a Personal Development coach for Beauty Professionals, I’m here to help you create a business and life that feels as good as it looks. My mission is to guide Black women in the beauty industry toward increasing sales, saving money, and reclaiming their time—without burnout.

Beyond my career, I’m also a proud single mother to my incredible 26-year-old son, who serves as a Firefighter. Watching him pursue his passion with courage and dedication reminds me daily of the power of perseverance and purpose—values I bring into my coaching to help Beauty Professionals thrive.
